  The Forum of Nerva, the fourth and smallest of the imperial fora, was constructed in 85 AD under Emperor Domitian and completed by his successor Nerva in 97 AD, which is how it got its name. The new forum not only served as a bustling thoroughfare but also as a grand entrance to the larger Roman Fora, showcasing the blend of practicality and monumental architecture that characterized ancient Roman public spaces.

  Forum of Augustus

  In the Forum of Augustus, you can find the Temple of Mars Ultor, which was built to commemorate Augustus’ victory at the Battle of Philippi in 42 BCE, where he defeated the assassins of Julius Caesar.
